Double Trouble:
Just as the name implies, pilot Walt Pierce has his hands full with double the work to maintain controlled flight while TWO wing walkers move about the wings of Ol’ Smokey.  Fighting the winds while flying at 70-150 mph, Jenny & Tyson cover plenty of turf on the wings of the 450 Stearman. Both wing walkers take off on the javelins, providing the audience with some up-close views of their mirror-image poses.  Then Jenny moves to the top wing and both ride through some acro and finish with some daring asymmetric stunt passes with Tyson at the wingtip.                                                                                                                        (approx. 14 minutes)

This wing walking act mixes acrobatics with grace and precision
and the 'Double Dare Javelin Hang' for a show you just can’t miss.

GOLDEN AGE SOLO --
Walt takes the audience back in time to the Golden Age of Aviation (1930s) where Barnstormers ruled the skies as they amazed their spectators with acrobatics and maneuvers that are still at the heart and soul of modern-day air shows.  Included with either wing walking act, approx. 12 minutes.

CIRCLE FLAG JUMPERS --
Available for Opening Ceremonies, approx. 9 minutes.
Included with either wing walking act.

Solo Wing Walker:
Following the lead of great historic wing walkers like Ormer Locklear and Jessie Woods of the 1920s, our wing walker performs both atop Ol’ Smokey as well as between the wings. Braving the unyielding winds, she performs both classic wing walking stunts (such as the top wing aerobatics and inverted pass), as well as more rare maneuvers (like the Daring  javelin hang) in her amazing display with Pilot Walt.                                                                                                                                        (approx. 14 minutes)
What sets our performances apart from other wing walking teams' acts?
We do A LOT of wing WALKING.  While some other teams only perform at the javelin and in front of the top rack, the American Barnstormer wing walkers hit two more locations on the Stearman:  the back of the rack and the N-strut at the wingtip.  Our transitions between the lower wings and to the top wing are clearly visible from the crowd's perspective.  Moving between these 4 distinct points on the plane, coupled with some old-fashioned acrobatics, makes for a much more complete wing walking demonstration than you can find elsewhere.

performs aerobatics standing at the wingtip,
& hangs upside-down from the javelin by her knees
- all in one routine!

New comedy version available in 2010!
"Double Trouble was my favorite act of the day."

"I'd heard nothing but praise for these performers and thus had high expectations,
which in both cases were not only met but surpassed."
